I took this photo of my friend Claire downtown. This photo was for our project entitled "White on White." I really like how this photo turned out. I turned down the brightness and made the contrast higher for the edits.

Anna S - Gillian

For this project we had to take pictures of Organic Forms. I decided to take portraits of my friend, Gillian. We went to downtown Birmingham and found a white wall. I made her stand on the ledge and pose. I like how her hair ended up turning out in the picture as a result of the wind. In photoshop I bumped up the contrast and brightness. Overall I really like how this photo turned out.

This is a picture I took in the studio using the lights placed behind the white sheet of almost full strength, and put several people behind the sheer and the sheet became somewhat transparent.

Anna S - A White Masterpiece

For this project the topic was White on White. I wanted to explore with white paint. I got my friend Hope and a bedsheet. I painted some white makeup paint on her face and she wore a white shirt in front of the white bedsheet. I wanted to contrast the white so I told her to hold a pink flower. I made the flower be focused and the background blurred. In the end I really like how this picture turned out.

Abe the Babe - I took this picture of Abrielle down town by the John City Diner. I like this picture a lot because of the composition and the editing done to it. I made the back ground black and white and made her flannel color. Im really happy with how this turned out.

Anna S - The Third Eye

For this project we were supposed to take pictures of hands. I wanted to take it a step further and add a creative side to it. I had my friend draw an eye with makeup on my other friend's hand. Then I went into the studio and placed my friend in front of the white background. I then edited the photo with a Nik Collection filter. I really like the purple haze on the picture, there is a sense of mystery to it. I am very please with how this turned out.
